DR. VAGEESH SABHARWAL
DENTIST
Dr. Vageesh Sabharwal earned his degree in 1997 at York University, graduating first class with distinction, and then went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Toronto, graduating with honors, in 2001.
Continuing education continues to be an important part of his education to ensure he is staying up-to-date with today’s ever-changing field of dentistry. He has had postdoctoral work in some of the most prestigious colleges including the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and Harvard Business School. He has been recognized with scholarships and awards throughout his dental career, including receiving honorary fellowship awards for extra-curricular activities in dentistry from the Pierre Fauchard Academy and Dentistry International in Canada.
With his plethora of knowledge, he shares in providing teaching and presentations with others at many conferences and groups and enjoys providing general dentistry to the patients in the area of Toronto since 2003.

Mary’s infectious personality would make anyone want to go to the dentist. The whole team from the receptionist to the hygienists are all happy people and genuinely seem to like their job which makes you happier to go there.

ACCEPTING CANADIAN DENTAL CARE PLAN (CDCP)
The Government of Canada has introduced the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP), as part of its objective to make dental care more accessible and affordable for those who might not otherwise be able to afford the care needed to maintain good oral health.
How Does It Work?
Scheduled to begin covering treatment in May 2024, the CDCP is a publicly funded dental benefit for those with an annual household income under $90,000 and no private dental insurance.
The plan covers a portion of the cost of an enrolled patient's oral health treatments to prevent and treat oral disease which, in turn, can protect against serious health problems.
Who Qualifies
Anyone wishing to participate in this plan must meet the eligibility requirements outlined below.
• Be a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
• Filed an income tax return for the previous year.
• Do not have dental insurance through a private or pension plan or with an employer.
• Have a net (after tax) family income of less than $90,000 annually.
Applications for the CDCP are phased, beginning with seniors. Children under age 18 and those with disabilities are eligible starting June 2024. All other Canadian residents can apply starting in 2025.
